Ready, Set, GO!

Back to the blog I go! It has certainly been a while since my last post. I'm not even sure why I took so much time off from writing. I kept telling myself that I was too busy. But, if I was able to find time to blog while at school, I should be able to find time to blog on break, right? Alas, the break slipped through my fingers without many posts. But I think that is just fine.

You see, I like to blog when I have inspiration. Blog ideas come to me in just the strangest of settings. While I'm driving on the highway, falling asleep at night, or simply as I a fold my laundry. The biggest inspiration, I believe, comes from when I am busy, and trying to juggle "a million" things. i.e. college. I've always said I functioned better with a full schedule.

I head back to school tomorrow. It's funny because I am heading back to school, however, I'm not heading back to last semester's school. I am heading to my new college. A fresh start. A new beginning. A new

Don't Miss a Moment.

New Year. Fresh Start.  I've never been one of those people to obsess over the new year. To make a huge list of resolutions, to party into the new year, or to celebrate the end of a long, perhaps "not-so-good" year. But for the past few weeks, I have, for some reason, been really excited for 2014.
Well here we are, 2014. And to be completely honest, I could not be more excited. I am doing the things I never do. I am writing out resolutions. And embracing the "new year, new you" mantra. 
2013 was an interesting year. A very interesting year at that. I can't even think of a good adjective to describe it. From graduating high school, to starting college, to my sister passing away, to deciding to transfer colleges. Yea, it was definitely interesting. But what is life without a few unexpected twists?
